February is National Psychology Month!
This month, we’re recognizing the role psychology plays in helping people understand themselves, build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
Access to mental health support changes lives. It strengthens families, supports healthier relationships, and helps people move forward with clarity and confidence.
If you’ve been thinking about counselling, support, or simply learning more about your mental health, Psychology Month is a good time to take that first step. Learn more about our counselling programs and get in contact with our team here: menandfamilies.org/program-registration/

🚨 Huge news for men and boys in Canada 🚨
Federal Health Minister Marjorie Michel has announced plans to release a national strategy on the health and well-being of Canadian men and boys . This is something advocates, researchers and our community at CCMF have been calling for, for a long time.
Why this matters:
• 75,000 Canadian men died prematurely in 2023, many from preventable causes
• Most men delay seeking care due to stigma
• Fewer than half feel heard when they finally do reach out
The proposed strategy will focus on mental health, addiction and public safety, and encourage collaboration across provinces and territories. As we can't share news stories directly, we encourage you to Google “Federal health minister to launch strategy on men’s and boys’ health in 2026” for more information.
At CCMF, this reinforces why our work matters, and why we will keep showing up for men, boys, and families across Canada. This is how real change starts💙
