The holidays can be a beautiful time of year, but for many people, they are also one of the hardest. Pressure, loneliness, family conflict and financial strain can make this season feel anything but festive. If that’s how you’re feeling, you’re not alone.

Today is Human Rights Day —this year's theme is Human Rights, Our Everyday Essentials.
A powerful reminder that human rights are not abstract ideas. They show up in the safety we feel, the opportunities we access and the dignity we are treated with each day.
For the men and their children who come to us in crisis, these essentials are often out of reach. Safety. Stability. A voice that is heard. A fair chance to rebuild. These are human rights, and they should never depend on circumstance.
At CCMF, we work to restore those everyday essentials through counselling, housing, advocacy and support that protects dignity and opens the door to a safer future.
By bridging the gap between human rights principles and real lived experience, we aim to spark awareness, build confidence and work together toward a community where everyone has access to the rights they deserve.
Human rights begin with how we show up for one another. Thank you for standing with us and helping ensure no one is left behind - menandfamilies.org/
