CCMF Joins Father’s Day Prostate Cancer Walk
Will you donate or join our team?
A Message from our new CCMF President Dr. James S. Brown
On Father’s Day, June 21, 2015, a CCMF team will be participating in the annual Do It For Dads Walk/Run in Toronto to raise funds for research and to increase awareness about the terrible affects of prostate cancer and the mental health issues faced by men. Prostate cancer occurs more frequently and is deadlier than breast cancer, yet it is often described as the “good” kind of cancer. From personal experience, I know that it is not the “good” kind.
Additionally, suicide is three times as common in men, yet this fails to be a major concern for governments and in our society in general.
We have a flagship event in this annual Father’s Day Walk/Run. Please show your support by taking part, sponsoring our team, or by posting messages of support on social media. Raising public awareness is critical for the well-being of our dads, our sons, and all of our male friends and relatives. Please do what you can to demonstrate CCMF’ s involvement in this event. Do It For Dads!
You can donate or join the CCMF team by clicking here.
Donations above $20 will receive a tax receipt.
