2019 Healthy Fathers. Healthy Families Week
A Photo and Video Report
Earlier this week we reported on our Charger Foundation Golf Tournament Fundraiser. Now we’re excited to share photo highlights and touching videos from the rest of our 2019 Healthy Fathers. Healthy Families Week.
Make a charitable contribution and support these unique programs.
Fathers Day Picnic and BBQ
Members and clients, including several families, joined us for our annual Fathers Day’s BBQ, and you’re going to love these touching videos as dads and their children tell us what Father’s Day means to them.

Word on the Street
Our public outreach day brought awareness of the importance of fatherhood and raised attention to the Canadian Centre for Men and Families and its programs. This year’s highlights included a dad running back to our table to grab a “He Can Do It!” button for his son, a single dad rendered homeless who, upon meeting us for the first time, put on one of our shirts and began passing out our literature, and a couple who appreciated our work so much that they insisted on a group photo (included below)!
York Pride Parade
Our best turnout yet and a beautiful day as we walked in the York Region Pride Parade, advertising our Rainbow Legal Support program for gay dads and GBTQ+ men. As it turned out, we were joined by some heavy hitters, as Ontario Premier Doug Ford and others from cabinet participated in the walk.
We’re looking forward to seeing all of you at next year’s Healthy Fathers. Healthy Families Week!
