Media Advisory: Toronto’s First “Men’s Centre” Reaches Fundraising Goal
Celebration & Charity Auction Dec 1, Indiegogo Campaign Closes Nov 30

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – Nov. 18, 2013) – Toronto will be home to the first Canadian Centre for Men and Families, as the Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF) today reports raising its minimum goal of $50K.

Tonight CCMF Board Member Adam McPhee joins The Agenda, TVO’s flagship current affairs program responding to the Munk Debate “Are Men Obsolete?” A charity auction and entertainment event is planned December 1 at 2PM at Infinity Complex, 51 Lower Simcoe.

Fundraising continues on Indiegogo until November 30. CAFE seeks to end its Campaign closer to $75K, the high end of its fundraising range, to enhance the services the Centre will provide.

“We invite everyone who cares about boys and men to continue donating and then to join us to celebrate, as we close the door on our Campaign, and open the door to an unprecedented new venue,” said Malcolm Johnston, CCMF Spokesperson.
