Are “women-only” or “female preferred” jobs acceptable? How about in fields dominated by women? How do we balance our desire to build gender equality with our protection for individual rights and civil liberties?
Join us for a talk featuring human rights lawyer Jean-Alexandre De Bousquet, who has won cases before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal for discrimination against men in employment.
De Bousquet has also fought discrimination against gay and racial minority clients, worked for the Canada Research Chair on Native Peoples and Legal Diversity as well as the Attorney General of Ontario.
