Legal Information Workshops – weekly Tuesday evenings 7:00-8:30

Fees/Costs: Free

Program Description:

Our Legal Information Clinic is divided into two services: Legal Information Workshops where clients can come in to learn about various legal topics, and Individual Legal Information Sessions where clients can meet with legal students and a lawyer to gather information specifically related to their personal situation.

Legal Information Workshops:

The Legal Information Clinic will offer weekly information workshops where individuals can come to receive basic information related to the specific workshop topic. These workshops are available to people who register in advance, so that we are able to accommodate all those needing the service. Workshop topics will be available on our website and will be emailed to clients in advance. Topics will be chosen based on what we see the biggest demand for. To request a certain topic please contact the Centre. These services are not providing legal representation or legal advice, but only provide helpful information to guide clients who are unsure of their legal options.

Every First and Third Tuesday the topic of discussion is criminal law and a Criminal Law Lawyer attends meetings.

Every Second and Fourth Tuesday the topic of discussion is family law and a Family Law Lawyer attends meetings.
