UPDATE: WE ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE OUR CELEBRITY EMCEE WILL BE BUTCH CARTER,
FORMER COACH OF THE TORONTO RAPTORS!
Register online to play or to sponsor this event at www.modernlife.style/9andplay/.
This tournament is sure to be one of the most exciting golf occasions of the year! The event will include breakfast, 9 holes of golf, lunch, a silent auction and a poker tournament. We are pleased to announce that Mr. Butch Carter, former head coach of the Toronto Raptors, will emcee the event.
The golf tournament will be followed by an optional Texas Holdem’ Match. If preferred, you may choose to play a full 18 holes, rather than participate in the poker event. We hope this provides flexibility, and makes for an entertaining day. Of course, luncheon will be served, and live and silent auctions will be held. A more detailed itinerary of the day will be available in the coming weeks.
Our registration form, which includes information about how to join the tournament as a player, can be accessed here. There are also a number of exciting opportunities to sponsor the event, which can be found here. Online player and sponsor registration are available on the event’s website at www.modernlife.style/9andplay/.
Your help will come at a critical time, as the health of boys and men is in crisis. Male suicide rates are rising just as their university enrolment numbers are falling. Men are twice as likely to abuse drugs or alcohol, and comprise over 75% of emergency shelter populations. And there are zero domestic abuse services for the thousands of men – and their children – who need them. The CCMF presents a game- changing opportunity to reverse these devastating trends.
Please mark your calendars to join us June 24th in support boys, men, fathers and families: we hope to see you on the course!
